About

After graduating from UC San Diego with a degree in Communication, I started working as the Programs Director for Gilboa, an educational youth group. There, I planned LARPs, ran community events, and organized social justice programming. In 2022 I went back to school to focus on the playful and experiential elements that I loved about working with teenagers and young adults. In May 2025 I completed my AAS in Game Design from Pratt Institute where I spent my time researching gaming communities, making video games, and producing a tabletop card game called Shmoes. For me, games are a way for people to consciously and subconsciously explore the most challenging elements of life, such as war, violence, technology, and trauma. I want to create immersive experiences that sneakily linger.I have a broad skill set that includes design (games, narrative, website, mass communication), development (HTML/CSS, Python, C#/Unity, Lua/Pico8), social media, project management, leadership training, art, and research.

Shmoes

Overview: Shmoes is a 3-lane competitive card game in which techno-fantastical cult leaders compete to brainwash more people than their rivals. Be careful though! Your choices do not happen in a vacuum; any action you
take to affect your target may influence someone else.
Gameplay: Pick your cult leader who will add unique cards called Scripts into your deck, customizing each game. Brainwash your Shmoes by playing Scripts to lower their stamina, while carefully lowering your opponent’s.
